Soroptimist International of Santa Cruz Mountains is a part of a global volunteer movement dedicated to transforming the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and opportunity. We are proudly aligned with Soroptimist International of the Americas, one of five federations that make up Soroptimist International. Together, nearly 65,000 members across 118 countries work at the local, national, and international levels to advance the status of women and girls and build strong, peaceful communities.

 

Our vision is a world where women and girls achieve their full potential, realize their aspirations, and have an equal voice in shaping their futures. Guided by principles of human rights, equality, and peace, Soroptimist International champions education as a pathway to economic empowerment and lasting change.

As a new and growing club, Soroptimist Santa Cruz Mountains is committed to bringing this mission to life in our local community. Through programs like the Live Your Dream Awards®, which provides cash grants to women pursuing education, and Dream It, Be It®, which mentors girls toward career success, we are working to create brighter futures for women and girls in our region.
