Soroptimist International’s mission is to transform the lives of women and girls through education, empowerment, and opportunity. By bringing Soroptimist programs like Live Your Dream Awards® and Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls® to the Santa Cruz Mountains, we aim to create a ripple effect that not only empowers individuals but also strengthens our local community. These programs open doors to brighter futures, enabling women and girls to overcome obstacles and achieve economic empowerment, which ultimately benefits families, businesses, and neighborhoods.

To make this vision a reality, we are focused on the exciting project of chartering Soroptimist Santa Cruz Mountains as an official club. Chartering is a critical step in establishing a sustainable presence in our region to deliver Soroptimist’s life-changing programs and make a lasting impact.

What We Need to Charter

• 18 Charter Members: Sign up as founding members, pay yearly dues of $225, and register as part of our club.

• Elected Leadership: Positions include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director of Fundraising, Director of Publicity, Director of Membership, and Director of Community Engagement.

• Club Bylaws: Adopt bylaws that align with Soroptimist International of the Americas’ guidelines.
